To be honest with you, I enjoy learning about other people much more than I like talking about myself. However, in order to build relationships, I appreciate the need to share a little about me. So here it goes...
I love the Lord more than anything else in this world. I invited Jesus Christ to be the Lord and Savior of my life when I was 7 years old and He's given me a strong desire to draw closer to Him, especially in my adult years. I'm inspired when opportunities arise that allow me to encourage others to seek and grow in a deeper relationship with God. I love spending time with other sisters-in-Christ.
Like many women, I fulfill several different roles. I'm a wife, mom, daughter, sister, friend, author, speaker, coach, etc. Each one has its own perks and I'm thankful for the variety each role brings.
I'm a planner by nature. I tend to organize and strategize as I go about a typical day. Rarely will you find me without a pen and paper close by, along with a "to do" list to keep me on track. I love checking things off my list. However, when it comes to vacation, or just taking a break from life, I love putting schedules and lists aside to simply enjoy the flexibility that a day can bring without an agenda...Ahhhhhh!
I enjoy writing, kayaking, traveling, music and tennis. My favorite food? I'd have to say pizza. I love warm, summer days and beautiful sunsets. I used to love the busyness of life, where the hustle and bustle of a day was fulfilling, but I now treasure peaceful, still moments that a day occasionally brings. (But don't blink or you might miss them!)
I do my best to live each day intentionally. Some days are easier than others, but the goal remains the same. I'm reminded that life is a gift, and as long as we're still here, we have a purpose to fulfill so live life to the full.
